Consolidation Integration Certification
Preparing for the CTA written and oral examinations are the last stages in your professional journey towards qualification. These final months are a process of consolidation and integration of the years of your training and clinical experience as you begin to write about your work and prepare to present yourself to your colleagues at your exams as ready for Certification. The online CTA Exam Preparation Group can help you prepare for your CTA exam working online in a small group.
Two, three and a half hour sessions of online working over a Friday evening and a Saturday morning keeping us engaged and focused also offering you flexibility to manage your exam preparation alongside your working and personal life. On day one we work in the evening, forming the group, setting and beginning the agenda, along with structured input from Lin. Overnight there will be some simple reflective exercises and tasks. On day two we complete our agenda.
This is a closed group of no more than 10 people with a minimum commitment to attend four sessions.

What’s on the Agenda?
Support in writing the various sections of the CTA written exam. Understanding the competencies, scoring and assessment scales. Other areas of interest might include academic writing and how to critique.
You may wish to look at the preparation and selection of tapes for oral exam and practice mock CTA exams. Perhaps think about the differences between online and in person exams, and international exam boards. Look at understanding the process of the exams or your personal process in your CTA journey. Any and all of these topics, plus many more can be part of the agenda for the two sessions.
